So what is more natural than for ROTADAIRON to present this new arrival to lawn professionals (sport surfaces: golf courses, sport fields; lawns: public and private parks) from around the world at such a prestigious exhibition The CRK has a hydrostatic transmission and is driven by a Vanguard 16 HP engine. It enables slit seeding over a width of 720 mm in a single passage thanks to its 4 mm thick blades spaced at 42 mm. The seed supply and distribution system from hopper to soil is extremely efficient. The independently adjustable, double-hopper system enables the sowing of complex grass seeds combinations. The blades may be replaced in the same way as on the ED 130 & ED 180 dethatchers without removing the rotor or bolts.

24-hour motorbike race: Victory of YAMAHA ahead of the 2 SUZUKI of SERT (winner of the last 3 editions).

French Motorbike Grand Prix: A great battle in the Motorbike GP between Valentino ROSSI (Italy, YAMAHA) and Sete GIBERNAU (Spain, HONDA) ending in a magnificent victory for the Italian in front of 80,000 spectators.

24-hour car race: With the preliminary rounds held on June 5 and the race itself on June 18 and 19, 2005, the event is organized this year over a 2-week period. Participants: AUDI, DOME (MUGEN), DALLARA (NISSAN), PESCAROLO (JUDD), COURAGE, CORVETTE, FERRARI, PORSCHE, PANOZ  and the noteworthy return of ASTON MARTIN winner in 1959 and absent since 1989. The presence of the rally world champion – Sébastien LOEB – with PESCAROLO is also well worth a mention.

The MUC 72 soccer team achieved the best home game result in division 2 (36 points out of a possible 45 in 15 matches!) which earned them a place at the top of the division. The coaching of Frédéric Hantz, the excellent spirit of the up-coming talents in our club – Frédéric Thomas, Yohann Hautcoeur, Daisuke Matsui, James Fanchone,…- the unrelenting faith of our supporters and sponsors have enabled us to attain this remarkable result. Our next objective is to build a new stadium.

Thanks to some «miraculous recruitment», the MUC 72 Club des Cent Cravates soccer team – coached by Gérard Crosnier – was able to snatch a home game victory of 5 to 2 against Mulsanne. As we all remember, the away game was lost by 4 to 5!

LE MANS, AUGUST 8, 1908: 1^ST PUBLIC FLIGHT WORLD-WIDE AND 1^ST FLIGHT IN EUROPE FOR THE WRIGHT BROTHERS’ FLYER

It was in Le Mans, in the center of the Hunaudières hippodrome and with the support of Léon Bollée and a handful of business backers from the Sarthe region, that Wilbur Wright successfully completed his first flight in Europe. Amongst those who witnessed the event were Louis Blériot, Ernest Archdeacon, the Zens brothers and Léon Delagrange all of whom were dazzled by the mastering of this heavier than air flight.

SARTHE AERO RETRO CLUB CREATES A REPLICA OF THE 1908 FLYER III

Create a replica of the 1908 aircraft is already quite an adventure, to actually fly it is a real feat! This is why Marc Denoueix and Michel Dairon took Jeff Jacquelin to the USA in February 2005 to use the existing Flyer flight simulators.
